Assessment of Surface Water Quality Using Water Quality Index and Discriminant Analysis Method

Given the complexity of water quality data sets, resources pose a significant problem for global public order in terms protection and management. In this study, surface drinking irrigation purposes was evaluated by calculating Water Quality Index (WQI) Irrigation (IWQI) based on nine hydrochemical parameters. The discriminant analysis (DA) method used to identify variables that are most responsible spatial differentiation. results indicate is poor very according WQI values, however, IWQI values acceptable with restrictions salinity sensitive plants. discriminate identified pH, potassium, chloride, sulfate, bicarbonate as parameters between different stations contribute variation quality. findings study provide valuable information decision-makers address important management protection.
